After success of Galaxy S line, Samsung announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelone, its new Galaxy S II smartphone.
Samsung’s Galaxy S II runs of course at Android platform, exactly at Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI.
“We’re pleased to see Samsung bring another Android-powered device to market to help grow the Android ecosystem,” said Andy Rubin, Vice President of Engineering at Google.
Smartphone use the power of Samsung’s dual core processor. It has 1GB of memory and 16GB or 32GB internal storage memory.
The display is a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen. It has an 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 2 Megapixel front camera for video chat.
For wireless communication, it has standard Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS/GPS support and WiFi 802.11b/g/n inside. It is suitable for quad-band GSM/EDGE and 3G/3.5G HSPA networks.
Micro USB connector, 3.5m jack and a microSD card slot are present too.
A dual core smartphone in your hand, not bad;)
