The London International Horse Show at Olympia is a famous tradition around Christmas time in the UK. This years show runs from the 15th – 21st of December.
The First Royal International Horse Show took place in the Grand Hall Olympia in 1907 and celebrated it’s centenary at the same venue in 2007.
Olympia’s nominated charity for 2009 is the Brooke, the UK’s leading overseas charity dedicated to alleviating the suffering of horses, donkeys and mules working in the poorest parts of the world.
Top names from the world of show jumping and dressage compete in various tournaments including the FEI Jumping World Cup Qualifier, the Accenture Christmas Puissance and the Olympia Grand Prix.
